Quoth Moody in 2012 to be the "GREASTESHT NUMBAH AWVE OWL TIM!," 7 is one snazzy lookin' son-of-a-bitch. All the other numbers wish they could be 7, but alas, there can only be one 7. Though, I guess 77 defies this idea, no? 7 is lucky, because on any pair of dice, you are more likely to roll a 7 than any other number! Well, with a pair of two d6, at the very least. If we made 7-sided dice on the regular, then we'd consider 8 to be lucky, no?
Origin
Truth be told, I don't know where 7 came from. Even expert mathematicians can not wrap their read around the several qualities sevens behold. It may have been the first number, but nobody knew it was the first, since 1 didn't exist yet. A bit of a shame if you ask me. At least now it comfortably sits on the Numberbet, where it belongs.
