BBC iPlayer Channel on the Wii is one of mankind's greatest ideas and creations. I don't know who thought of it and exactly what use is BBC iPlayer on the Wii, but it's an amazing idea anyway. It's the only Wii channel that was exclusive to the UK. It's not as cool as the Japan exclusive Wii channel where you could order pizza and fried chicken (very random and epic foods) and the photo printing channel with the earrape intro, and this one I love the artstyle of, but at least it's something.

With this app, you can watch stuff the BBC made, which includes stuff from all the BBC channels, even CBBC and CBeebies.

    This means you can watch:

    • Mister Maker on the Wii
    • Kerwhizz on the Wii
    • Shaun the Sheep on the Wii
    • Eastenders on the Wii
    • Bargain Hunt on the Wii
    • Bottom Gear...sorry, Top Gear on the Wii
    • BBC News on the Wii
    • Horrible Histories on the Wii
    • Match of the Day on the Wii and then you can start a riot cause we're shite at football when we act like we're not
    • Doctor Who on the Wii

The sad thing is that it doesn't work anymore. that It was also released on the Wii U at some point, but for some reason that doesn't interest me in the slightest. I don't think it's on the Switch because they don't have region specific things anymore and it wouldn't work in America or Japan so what would be the point?

Do you think anyone's hacked a Japanese Wii to put the BBC iPlayer channel on it? I know it wouldn't work, but imagine if it did? イーステンダーズ, ミスター・メーカー and トップ・ギア/ボトム・ギア when?
