The Soul Train Performance Disaster was a Pingasville music festival disaster that happened on June 2, 2021.YBN Nahmir left six dead, and many more in serious condition after attempting to sing his critically panned song "Soul Train".
Simmons is currently waiting for his trial where he could face up to 50 years.

Soul Train is the 16th track off of Nahmir's debut studio album Visionland. Due to the song's questionable background and weird lyrics, the song became one of the worst music pieces in over decades. Many people even claimed that they almost died from listening to the song, despite this, Nahmir never faced charges the disaster.
Disaster[edit | edit source]
Simmons had just finished performing his hit single Bounce Out With That, after the song had finished, Simmons said to the crowd "are yall ready for more fire?!" where he started playing the worst song of his career; Soul Train. To make matters even worse, Simmons started to sing off-key while the music was playing, because of this, six people in the front row died of cringe, and 22 people fainted and passed out in critical condition, the rest of the audience ran away from stage while covering their ears.
Almost immediately, after realizing what he had done, Simmons attempted to run from police but was arrested and brought to custody shortly after.

Simmons initially faced charges of death by cringe, but the charges were later upgraded to six counts of music manslaughter. Simmons' trial was set for October 2, 2021, but later changed to December 3, 2021.

Many fans and rappers of the hip-hop community were shocked to hear this, and attacked Nahmir for his careless actions. Former friend of Nahmir, Cordae, said "Nahmir really did this? Wow bruh I thought you was cool". Lil Important expressed his anger on his Twitter, with a tweet reading "nahmir you stupid ass mf". Famous Dex stated on his live that Nahmir was a "soulless killer".
